School Uniforms

Marion Primary School is proud to identify itself with all students wearing the school colours.
The school uniform consists of navy bottoms such as tracksuit pants, cargo pants, shorts,
skirts or netball skirts. The top is a light blue and navy short sleeve polo shirt or light blue long sleeve polo shirt preferably with the school logo on. For girls there is also a navy blue and white checked school dress which is available from the major variety stores.

Students are to be dressed neatly and in school colours. Jeans are not permitted. The uniform
can be purchased from the front office or from major variety stores. An iron on logo is available
from the front office.

Students need to be appropriately dressed during specialist lessons e.g. appropriate shoes
for Physical Education. A sports polo top is available for purchase for students who play school team sports.

Hats are to be worn when UV rates are at level 3 or above. This is usually from August through to May. Broad brim style, legionnaire or bucket hats with the school logo on, are available to be purchased from the front office.

There is a no hat no play policy and students are to remain in the shelter shed if they do not
bring their hat in Terms 1 and 4. Students not complying with remaining in the shelter shed
have Reflection Room for disobedience and for repeat inappropriate behaviour.

No offensive or inappropriate clothing, jewellery or footwear (thongs, hi-heeled shoes) The
only jewellery that can be worn by students is earrings-stud or rings. Necklaces, bracelets,
bangles, rings, brooches etc and pierced body jewellery cannot be worn.

Some second hand uniforms may be available from the front office.
